Melted Crayon Painting
I got the idea from my little sister, who in turn probably picked it up somewhere on the internet. My daughter and I decided today was a good day to try this project out. We too all her blue crayons that were worn down to a nub or broken to an uncomfortable size and glued them to the top of a piece of canvas with woodglue.
From there we just used to blowdryer to heat up the crayons until they melted down the canvas. We had all different kinds of crayons. We figured out roseart crayons melt the best, and crayolas don’t melt hardly at all. FYI
Once we had our melted crayon wax on the canvas the way we wanted, we let it sit for a few minutes and pulled the glued crayons off the top of the canvas. And Voila!
